New Regime comes to Town


The Seattle Seahawks made the biggest splash of the NFL off-season, hiring away possibly the best coach in college football, Pete Carroll on January 11,2010. Carroll, who has over 35 years of coaching experience(16 in the NFL, 19 in the NCAA), took a struggling USC program to two national championships, 7 Pac-10 titles(7 consecutive from 2002-2008) while posting an amazing 97-19 record. His teams produced 34 first team All-Americans and 53 drafted players with 14 of them being first rounders. The Trojans also had a #1 overall pick(QB Carson Palmer in 2003) as well as a #2 selection(RB Reggie Bush in 2006) while also producing the nation’s most draftees in 2006,2008 and 2009.
